Our Staff
Roland Wilson, Owner & Administrator
Roland Wilson received a Master of Arts degree in Human Resources and Organization Development from the University of San Francisco. He also holds a Bachelors degree in Business Administration from San Diego State University.
Roland has over 16 years of experience in the Healthcare industry. He currently holds the position of Senior Director, Digital Operations and Implementation with Kaiser Permanente. He as always believed in giving back to the community and enjoys caring for and spending time with our senior community. Roland is a certified Residential Care Facility for the Elderly (RCFE) Administrator through the State of California Community Care Licensing Division. He values and respects our senior community because they hold our history and can share invaluable wisdom to our younger generations.
Ruscius Wilson, Facility Manager
Ruscius Wilson received an Associates of Arts degree in Business Administration from El Camino College. She worked with Los Angles County, Department of Children and Family Services for 27 years; serving the community of foster and abused children.
After retiring, she served as a licensed foster parent specializing in short-term and emergency placements. She continued to serve her community by working at Keishna’s Kiddie Corner for five- years and presently at Joious Beginnings Learning Center; two in home daycare centers.
Since 2005, she has volunteered at East Oakland Senior Center, providing care and services for the senior community. She currently serves on the Advisory Council for East Oakland Senior Center and holds the position of Treasurer for the East Oakland Senior Center Incorporation (INC). She serves on various committees such as Juneteenth, Day at Races, OctoberFest, etc. She enjoys giving back to her community and does it with respect, pride and dignity
Claudia Marie Cooper, RN (LIC#95100083)
Claudia Marie Cooper holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Samuel Merritt University and has received her license as a Registered Nurse. Nurse Cooper is a first generation college student, single parent of three (two of whom are her nieces), a survivor of adversity, and a fighter for social justice. The decision to become a nurse was reached when she had to be the sole care provider for her infant who needed a liver transplant. This experience awakened a passion for the sciences, medicine, and a desire to provide excellent health care.
Ms. Cooper has certifications in Delivering Culturally Competent Nursing Care, Using Language Access Services, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, and Basic Life Saving for Health Care Providers. She is a member of Scholars in Service Program and the Community Service Honors Society at Samuel Merritt University; and serves as Membership Chair for the Bay Area Black Nurses Association.
Nurse Cooper wants to continue to improve the quality of care of all, but specifically wants to focus her time on providing patient centered care in the hopes of fulfilling her life’s mission of building healthier communities of color. She seeks to bring this quality into every medical establishment, especially those that are underserved. Nurse Cooper’s motto is that “caring is a huge part of curing” and therefore, plans to continue her passion with creating a healthier community. Nurse Cooper resides in Oakland, California and continues to serve Alameda County as a registered nurse
